The Goldstein-Goren Diaspora Research Center is dedicated to the research of the History of the Jewish people and its culture in all diasporas and eras. The Center is an integral part of the Lester and Sally Entin Faculty of Humanities in Tel Aviv University.

The Center's Objectives

± To prepare and coordinate research tools for studying the history and culture of the Jewish people in the Diaspora.

± To initiate and encourage research projects in Diaspora studies, and to assist in their implementation.

± To publish and disseminate the Center's research projects. 

 

 

Events

The Diaspora Research Center is honored to invite you to an evening symposium and film screening of The Phoenix Effect, a documentary film directed by Prof. Sharyn Blumenthal of California State University, Long Beach.  The evening will also include a lecture by Dr. Francoise Simcha Ouzan entitled "New Roots for the Uprooted: Holocaust Survivors in Rural America and Jewish Identities".  To view the evening's program, press here.
