Dear Governors and Friends,

I am pleased to invite you to attend the Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors that will take place on our beautiful campus in Tel Aviv from Friday, May 15, to Wednesday, May 20, 2009.

The theme of this year's meeting is the 100th Anniversary of Tel Aviv. We have planned many events, talks and tours that will introduce you to new and intriguing aspects of the world's first and largest Hebrew city.

Other highlights of the Board include an all-Beethoven concert to be performed by the Symphony Orchestra of the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music, the Honorary Degrees Conferment Ceremony, the Dan David Prize Ceremony, laboratory tours, and festive inaugurations of new projects.

Following the resolution passed at last year's Board of Governors meeting, we are introducing a new registration fee for participants. In addition, we're asking that registration fee payments, reservations for events and hotel bookings be done on-line. We appreciate your cooperation and welcome any opportunity to assist you.

We look forward to seeing you in May.

Sincerely,
Dr. Gary Sussman
Vice President for Development and Public Affairs
